1)   Women (Mothers’)   Youth   Men Americans   Police 2) This trailer shows an alternative representation of men. As we can see the protagonist has autism, which makes him inferior to other people as it’s his weakness. However, this trailer does show a dominant representation of men because of the way the police act, they are in control and have authority over the protagonist. Also, this trailer shows dominant representation of women, as we can see that she is a mother and is very protective of her son, she is very affectionate. However, this trailer does subvert the representations of women as it shows the heroine as the breadwinner of the family as she is the main provider of income- she runs her own business and is independent. There are both dominant representations of youth.
